An X Factor trio is set to rock Newton Aycliffe town centre during a special celebration of Christmas this weekend.
Josh Daniel, Kerrianne Covell and Karen Harding form the highlight entertainment during Saturday’s X Factor-themed street party, which kicks off at 1pm.
Josh, 22, from Billingham, famously reduced Simon Cowell to tears with his first audition in this year’s show before he was knocked out at the Judge’s Houses stage.
Kerrianne, from Stockton, also reached the Judge’s Houses stage of the 2014 show, and earlier this year was signed up to artist management company RU Listening Ltd (pictured).
While Karen, from Consett, is also a former X Factor and a Eurovision contestant.
Local band North Road will kick off the mini concert at 1pm, followed by Kerrianne, Karen and then finally Josh from about 4.15pm.
Santa will also make an appearance – and there’ll be free gifts for all children.

1.00-1.40pm: Local group North Road
2.00-2.45pm: Former X Factor contestant Kerrianne Covell
3.00-3.30pm: Former X Factor contestant Karen Harding
4.15-4.50pm: 2015 X Factor contestant Josh Daniel
4.50pm: Santa with free presents for all children
