A group of Year 11 students from Woodham Academy visited Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College.
Over the last few years, ‘experience’ visits such as this one have been unable to take place, so it was a valuable opportunity for these students in preparation for the next stage in their education.
The students were warmly welcomed and were encouraged to ask questions about all aspects of this next stage in their lives.
They were given a tour of the college and experienced new lessons including Politics, Media and Film and Psychology.
“The students thoroughly enjoyed the day and were grateful that they had been given this opportunity to experience what college will be like before they arrive in September,” said Woodham.
“Our thanks to the staff at QE for welcoming the students and giving up their time to provide them with such a valuable and interesting morning.”
