Woodham Academy has once again been credited with the prestigious Investor in People Standard.
This benchmark has been developed to describe the capabilities organisations need to succeed and highlights the small steps required to achieve excellence.
By meeting the Investors in People Standard, Woodham Academy is confident that it is amongst the very best when it comes to people management.
The Standard explores practices and outcomes within an organisation under three performance headings: leading, supporting and improving.
Throughout the two-day visit, Investors in People interviewed a variety of teaching and non-teaching staff, exploring how the school helps staff develop and progress in their professional lives.
Head teacher Christine Forsyth said: “The quality of education in a school is determined by the quality of the staff.
“We’re privileged to work with highly-skilled, committed professionals, all of whom work tirelessly for the good of the children in their care.
“We’re proud to receive this recognition of our commitment to staff development.”
