Both of Newton Aycliffe’s cricket teams had their fixtures postponed at the weekend due to the weather.
The club’s first team were due to entertain Saltburn’s 2nd XI on Saturday, while the second team was due to play Norton’s 3rd team at home, but both were postponed.
Meanwhile, the first team lost a NYSD Division 3 Cup game at Whitby last Monday.

But Whitby rattled off 154 for 0 after 15.3 overs to win by 10 wickets.
