A man who was wanted by police in connection with a large scale conspiracy to supply Class A drugs has been arrested.
Paul Baveridge was detained by officers getting off a ferry at the Port of Tyne at around 9.30am this morning.
Officers from Durham Constabulary, who were supported by colleagues from Northumbria Police, arrested the 29-year-old on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. He remains in police custody.
