A Newton Aycliffe man wanted by police was arrested overnight after he was found hiding in a loft.
Aycliffe cops wanted to speak to Lewis Bowmer about an alleged assault on his partner.
The 21-year-old is now in custody and helping police with their enquiries.
“Thank you to everyone who assisted in helping to locate him,” said a statement.
