Staff and children at House of Eden nurseries were especially egg-static this Easter after receiving a prestigious ‘Top 10 Recommended Nursery Group 2016’ award from daynurseries.co.uk.
House of Eden group have a chain of six children’s day nurseries across South Durham, including Aycliffe Village, Cobblers Hall in Newton Aycliffe, Stephenson Way Newton Aycliffe, Evenwood, Fishburn and Bishop Middleham.
Managing director John Newbould said “This is wonderful news, as a group recognition everyone deserves a big pat on the back”.
The daynurseries.co.uk Top 10 Nursery Awards 2016 highlight the most recommended day nurseries in each region of the UK.
The awards are based on over 22,000 reviews received between 1st March 2014 to 1st March 2016 from parents, relatives and guardians of children who attend the nurseries.
Alyson Thorburn, Area Manager for House of Eden, added: “This award is especially rewarding.
“It is testament to the hard work and dedication of all our nursery staff which has been acknowledged by the excellent reviews received from parents and carers of the children who attend our setting.”
Meanwhile, children and families from all the nurseries have been celebrating Easter by participating in a range of competitions, painting eggs and decorating Easter bonnets.
