June 28, 2013 at 9:09 pmIm sorry but publicly naming someone outside of a court case is unacceptable. How about you concentrate on persuading the council to save this god forbidden place from the 80s and building things again.rather than pointing out all the ba people do. Your website stands for everything aycliffe doesnt do for itself.you should be fucking ashamed

June 30, 2013 at 1:57 pmI’m sorry but what planet are you on? Publicly naming someone outside of a court? The lad committed a crime (actually, he’s a complete nuisance who causes untold misery for many people and this story is just the tip of the iceberg). What happens in the courts is in the public domain and it is completely acceptable for the media to report it. What is unacceptable is the behaviour of people like Lewis McCormick and people like him, who are the scurge of society. Aycliffe Today try to report all news, good and bad, and if you look through the news archive you’ll see the majority of articles are positives stories portraying the good things that are happening in the town. However, unlike some local media outlets, we feel it’s also our duty to report the bad stories, such as this, and if people that commit crimes don’t want to be “named”, there’s only one thing they can do to stop that from happening.

July 18, 2013 at 10:38 amNo need for foul language either chester south. This is a public forum. I personally find swearing in public to be unacceptable. Maybe it’s you who should be ashamed? If you’re not able to express your point of view in a reasonable manner, then don’t bother.
