Channel 4 special – investigating the relationship between Prime Minister David Cameron and the Murdoch Empire. On the back of the Leveson inquiry this is likely to be an interesting programme.
Killers Behind Bars The Untold Story: Tuesday 8pm, Channel 5.
New three-part series which sees Professor David Wilson examine the country’s most notorious murderers. The first part sees him look into the life of the Suffolk Starngler Steve Wright, who murdered five women who worked as prostitutes in Ipswich.
Silk: Tuesday 9pm, BBC1.
This week sees Martha face the toughest task of her career to date as she fights against time to save her client Jackson Henderson from the death penalty in Jamaica. Elsewhere Clive looks set to take on the biggest case of his career in the shape of gangster Jody Farr.
A Short History of Everything Else: Wednesday 10pm, Channel 4.
First part of a new comedy panel show hosted by Griff Rhys Jones which draws on archive footage. This week, Jones and regulars Marcus Brigstocke and Charlie Baker are joined by the brilliant Micky Flanagan.
The Men Who Made Us Fat: Thursday 9pm, BBC2.
In the first part of a new series reporter Jacques Peretti investigates our modern eating habits by looking back at the people who revolutionised the way people ate. He discovers how decisions made 40 years ago influence how people eat today.
