We Love The Monkees: Monday 9pm, ITV1.
Special tribute to the famous band The Monkees (pictured) looking back on their glitzy career, including their musical talent and their popular TV show. The stardom of Davy Jones is also highlighted, who died in February.
The Midwives: Tuesday 9pm, BBC2.
The first of a six-part documentary series which provides a rare insight into midwifery in Britain today. The series begins at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester, where one of Britain’s most busiest maternity wards is housed.
Britain’s Strangest Pets: Wednesday 8pm, Channel 5.
This week sees us meet 17-stone, pot-bellied pig, Meeka who is adored and cherished by her owner Janey. We discover the cost she incurs whilst looking after Meeka. Elsewhere a reptile enthusiast is searching for a mate for his monitor lizard.
Harold Shipman: Born To Kill? Thursday 8pm, Channel 5.
Psychological profile of Harold Shipman, the Manchester based Doctor who was convicted of murdering 15 patients. This programme also looks into the estimation that he may have murdered hundreds more.
Soham: A Parent’s Tale: Friday 9pm, ITV1.
A decade after schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman were murdered by Ian Huntley, Holly’s family talk about their loss and how they have lived their life since.
