Whitechapel: Monday ITV1, 9pm.
In the last episode of the thrilling series, Chandler and Miles begin to clash over the direction of the case as the body count begins to rise. Their differences in style come to the forefront as they continue to hunt for the serial killer who has escaped from a secure mental hospital.
Prisoners’ Wives: Tuesday BBC1, 9pm.
A thrilling climax to the drama series sees bullets fly as Gemma tries desperately to save her and her unborn baby’s lives. Elsewhere, Francesca agrees to pick up an illegal package for Paul – unaware that she is in fact being followed. A tense finale.
MasterChef: Wednesday BBC1, 9pm.
In the penultimate episode, John Torode and Gregg Wallace put the remaining contestants through their paces as they challenge them to tackle pastry. Expect to see them preparing savoury and sweet cakes as they look to make it into the final.
White Heat: Thursday BBC 2, 9pm.
The first part of a new six part drama starring Claire Foy and Juliet Stevenson. The series focuses on charting the lives of seven friends over six decades. We begin in 1965, with the friends moving into a student flat together, full of youthful aspiration and expectation.
The Sarah Millican Television Programme: Thursday BBC2, 10pm.
Geordie comedian Sarah Millican stars in her own TV show in front of a live audience. Expect to see her trademark monologue’s about what she’s seen on TV as well as her chatting to her favourite stars including Louie Spence, Sarah Beeny and John Kettley.

Coronation Street sees rapist Frank come to a sticky end as he is murdered this week. Frank has got on the wrong side of plenty of the Street in recent weeks leaving many people with a reason to want him dead. Among the suspects are: Michelle, Peter, Carla, Sally and Kevin.
Eastenders sees the Masood family finally come into a piece of good luck. Tamwar and Afia make up and Christian is welcomed into the family. Amira leaves Walford, however, after she eventually realises that her marriage is definitely over.
In Emmerdale, Zak’s behaviour continues to baffle his friends and family. His son Sam gets him a job at Home Farm, but he is sacked after just one day when instead of going to work he skives off and gets drunk.
