Newton Aycliffe RUFC will be in the final of the Durham Junior Plate for the third year running this weekend.
With the withdrawal of semi-final opponents Jarrovians, Aycliffe will now play Seaham, who beat Sedgefield in the other semi-final of the competition.
Aycliffe are the current holders of the trophy and have every intention of bringing the trophy home with them for the second successive year.
Confirmation has now been received that the match will be played at Hartlepool RFC, Mayfield Park, Easington Road, Hartlepool, TS24 9BA, on Saturday (12th May).
With the agreement of Seaham, the game will kick-off at 2pm to give all Newton Aycliffe team members time to return home to prepare for their end of season Presentation Night, which is to be held at Blackwell Grange Hotel.
