The Oak Leaf Sports Complex is gearing up for the 27th Great Aycliffe Show on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
This year’s event is set to take place on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August.
There’s always plenty to do and watch like dance performances, car/bike stunts (pictured), Punch and Judy, face paints, fun houses and waltzers.
Each year there is always a high number of people who go and take part.
The first, small show was held in 1985 and has now grown each year to be one of the main attractions on the Aycliffe Calendar.
The entertainment and competitions attract thousands of people from the whole of the North-East.
The two-day show has something of interest for all members of your family from the very young to the not so young.
There is a wide variety of professional and amateur entertainment in the Playhouse Marquee.
Outside in the arena we have spectacular entertainment with a main ‘act’ of motorcycle or car stunt teams and a supporting cast of varied entertainment with something for everyone’s taste.
