Newton Aycliffe fire fighters will spend some of their time on call at this brand new purpose-built ‘home’.
It’s hoped the £600,000 facility will be open by next summer and, despite its cost, will enable Aycliffe fire station to save £250,000 a year in tax payers’ money.
