The Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) supported Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning last Friday and achieved sweet success for the cancer awareness charity, raising over £340 from cake sales, stall fees and a raffle.
The event was well attended and everyone was spoilt for choice at the amazing stalls in the centre, ranging from body shop and self-care to beautiful Christmas decorations and hand crafted wooden furnishing.
Both PCP staff and members of Options day service cooked up a storm to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth – from crispy cakes, angel slices, cherry bakewell, flapjacks, scones and cakes of all different sizes and flavours – including a range of free from products, with nothing stayed on the table for long.
PCP chief executive Carol Gaskarth said: “PCP would like to thank the stall holders and everyone who baked, faked and/or donated to this year’s Macmillan Coffee morning, your generous donations help to support an amazing charity.”
