Options and the Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) are inviting the public to a fun-filled summer celebration.
On Wednesday (August 7, 11am-2pm) the Pioneering Care Centre will open its doors to raise awareness of this invaluable service.
There will be a feast of delights to take part in including homemade crafts, delicious food stalls, tombola and raffles and a chance to meet the local police and fire services.
While you visit you can take a walk in PCP’s Community Garden where you will find a bouncy castle, along with garden games, an ice cream van (let’s hope for good weather) and a fire engine between 11-12.30pm.
There will be fun for all the family and the Options members are preparing for their big day with excitement.
Options is a member-led day service offering support for adults with learning and physical disabilities.
The group provides essential skills and knowledge whilst promoting independent living and life skills, fun and learning.
As part of their fundraising activities, the members themselves will be taking part in a team challenge; working together to complete enough steps to climb Kilimanjaro in one day.
Any money raised from Options Summer Family Fun Day will go towards activities provide by the service, including trips, resources and equipment.
