Aycliffe Sub Aqua Club (ASAC), which won the Sub Aqua Association (SAA) Golden Club award in 2011, continues to develop its club members skills.
Andrew Spencer, Paul Thomas and Paul Simmons all recently qualified through a tough, and newly-structured, regional Oxygen Administration and Emergency Diver First Aid course.
Club chairman Martin Green said “I’d like to congratulate Andy, Paul and Paul on completing this new tough and challenging course.
“It’s very important, as divers, we continue to improve our skills for safe and enjoyable diving. ASAC offers its members the chance to develop skills and enjoy diving at minimal cost as a non profit organisation”.
ASAC are also in the running for the SAA Golden Club 2012 for recognition of another outstanding year of diver development. Some achievements over the past year include: training instructors, advanced divers, new boat handlers, deep rescue divers as well as training novices. Results should be known by April.
If you would like to learn to SCUBA dive, or are maybe already qualified and want to join an active dive club then please email Paul Simmons at [email protected]
