People are being urged to get active, raise cash for good causes and change lives by taking part in one of Durham County Council’s Sport Relief events.
The county council is supporting Sport Relief by hosting Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile events at leisure centres on Sunday, March 25.
Victoria Lee, adult healthy lifestyle co-ordinator at Durham County Council and one of the hosts for Teesdale’s event, said: “This is the second year we’ve hosted the Sport Relief Mile in Teesdale and we’d like to get as many people signed up as possible. From teeny-tots with their parents, to super sprinters up against the clock, there’s something for everyone with a choice of one, three or six miles.
“Please register at www.sportrelief.com and help us to raise money for Comic Relief causes.”
