The annual Year 6 ‘Friendship Day’ at Woodham Academy takes place on Saturday March 25, 10am-12noon.
It’s a first opportunity for Year 6 children to spend time in their secondary school and to get to know people.
At this year’s event, students will be able to choose from making notepad holders in Technology, exploring educational Minecraft in Computing, taking part in the Crystal Maze in Maths, Trampolining in PE and cake decorating in Technology.
“This is an excellent opportunity for students to start to make friends with their new class mates for September 2017 and familiarise themselves with the school,” said assistant head teacher Mrs McGinnety.
“There are information sessions for parents and the chance to try the delicious homemade food which is made freshly every day on site.”
