Officers from Durham Constabulary’s Motorcycle Section hosted the first BikeSafe workshop of the year on Sunday with seven bikers advancing their skills on the road.
The national initiative aims to work with riders to raise awareness of riding safely and consists of short classroom sessions covering essential topics followed by an assessment ride with officers to put what they’ve learnt into practice.
All of the force’s 112 spaces were filled within a few days of being made live last month and officers look forward to welcoming the next cohort of responsible riders soon!
