Recognising that their website was out-of-date has proved pivotal for North-East-based CTA Mortgage Advice Centre.
CTA Mortgage Advice Centre has offices in Darlington, Bishop Auckland and Newcastle and has been providing the North-East with mortgage and financial advice for over 20 years.
The decision to redesign the website was made by CTA’s directors, Steve Thompson and Andy Carter, and the website project was led by their marketing manager, Michelle Cowing.
Michelle said: “The initial plan was just for the website, but the design of the site ended up totally refreshing our branding which, it turns out, was just what we needed!”
The website is now able to generate and store lead data using a HubSpot integration, to ensure that Michelle and her team can send relevant communications to those website visitors that provide their details in exchange for whitepapers and ebooks.
Michelle said: “The new website provides such a streamlined way for me to update and edit content, but also gives richer insights into our audience – which we never thought possible.
“I’m excited to start integrating supporting marketing activities to provide real ‘added’ benefits for our web visitors, by providing them with the answers we know they’re looking for – because our website now tells us what they’re interested in.”
Thrive’s marketing team are delighted with the results the website has already created – after two weeks of launching the website there was a 41% increase in page views and a 345% increase in the average session duration, proving the website is offering a much more valuable benefit to its users.
Thrive’s digital marketing manager Sarah Burns, who has managed the website project and supporting marketing activities for the mortgage advisors, said: “It’s fantastic to see the impact this has had for CTA Mortgage Advice Centre, and for Michelle, in particular.
“We’ve provided a tool that makes her day-to-day job not only easier, but also more rewarding, as she has the data she needs to really boost the impact her marketing activities have on customers.”
As part of the project, Thrive has also provided some new printed material to help revamp the mortgage advisors’ North-East offices, including the Darlington main office, on West Auckland Road, that has also undergone a revamp in line with the new website launch.
Today the companies are excited about their strong working partnership and looking to build upon their current success with additional marketing activities during 2020.
Michelle added: “Steve and Andy, our company directors, have been thrilled with the results of this project, and it ties in wonderfully that we are starting 2020 with lots of exciting plans for the company, including an office expansion and refurbishment.
“When we started the project we were, of course, confident that Thrive would do a great job, but in actual fact the results are more than we could have possibly expected and we look forward to continuing to work together.”
