Staff at Greenfield Community College have been recognising the qualities of their students recently, celebrating their achievements at special ‘Recognition’ events with invited guests.
Nominations were organised by staff for students who had excelled in their category, celebrating and recognising responsibility; collaboration, resilience, reflection and creativity – individual qualities that can support young people in their academic studies and also have an impact on every aspect of their life helping them reach their potential.
“Well done to all of those nominated, it was wonderful to see the appreciative audience at the events and recognise the qualities of the young people involved,” said a school statement.
“This is one of many ways the school are able to celebrate the achievements of students and staff.
“Greenfield Community College are committed to offering a broad and balanced curriculum with opportunities to develop through extended learning.
“We recognise the achievements of individuals as part of their learning experience and support their development throughout their time at Greenfield and beyond.”
Greenfield continues to receive external recognition such as the National Platinum Artsmark Award for expertise in delivering an exceptional arts and culture provision; The Gatsby benchmark for careers and further education and the afPE Quality Mark for physical education.
