Sunderland RCA went back to the top of the Northern League first division on Tuesday night with a 2-1 win at home to Stokesley.
Newton Aycliffe, currently sixth in the table, go to RCA this Saturday in a re-arranged fixture.
Ex-Boro star Nathan Porritt was on target for Stokesley in Sunderland, but goals by Adam McGuiness and Robert Briggs gave them their 20th win of the season to go a point clear of West Auckland at the top.
