A Newton Aycliffe man convicted of stealing medication from a friend’s home has appeared before magistrates.
Benjamin Luke Clish, of Brockett Close, originally denied the offence, which took place between 29th April and 9th May last year.
He was found guilty at a trial on 18th December and the case was adjourned for pre-sentence reports.
As reported by The Northern Echo, Clish appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court today (Monday 14th January), and the 20-year-old was sentenced to nine months probation supervision. He was also ordered to pay £150 prosecution costs.
