There was a buzz at Greenfield Community College as students returned for the new academic term.
Improvements to facilities, extended resources, and the benefits of a more relaxed summer break have all contributed to renewed enthusiasm and a positive learning environment.
Year 7 and Year 11 were first to return, enabling the new cohort to find their feet and get comfortable in their surroundings.
A comprehensive transition programme has meant that Year 7 students were already familiar with key staff and aware of the many opportunities at Greenfield.
“Year 7 are settling in brilliantly and are quickly becoming an integral part of the Greenfield Community, we are delighted with their progress,” said Ms Davis.
Year 11s are being supported in their final year to reach their full potential as they prepare for their next steps.
A bespoke careers programme and a team of expert staff mean that their hard work over their time at Greenfield will reap rewards as they look forward to Year 11 and continuing their academic journey.
The whole school are now settling in and are building upon the positive learning experience that has been recognised by Ofsted.
There is a new extended library space and an upgrade to a range of facilities to support students in their studies.
Additional extra-curricular activities will also be available for students to take part in an impressive range of clubs, sports and creative activities.
