Aycliffe officers recovered cannabis plants after swooping on an Aycliffe Village home.
As revealed by Aycliffe Police Team Sergeant Mark Edwards in his regular blog on Aycliffe Today, officers received information surrounding suspected drugs activity at the address in Oaklea Mews, Aycliffe Village.
After securing a warrant, a 24-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of possessing controlled drugs after a quantity of cannabis was recovered from the property.
He was subsequently charged with the matter and will soon be appearing at court.
