Newton Aycliffe police are appealing for information after a hit-and-run in Woodham.
Police say a young man was hit by a car in Lowther Drive at about 10.20pm on Thursday night before the vehicle made off.
“The only vehicle description we have is that it was possibly similar to a Vauxhall Vectra,” said a statement.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident reference DHM-11122014-0438.
