Aycliffe police are appealing for information after an off-road bike was stolen from the Bluebell area of the town.
Between midnight and 1:30am on Wednesday, entry was gained to a garage in Hamsterely Road and a blue/red off-road trials bike was stolen.
The bike was later recovered near the woodland area at the rear of Barton Close, but police would still like to speak to three males who are suspected of the crime.
The first male is white, aged 18-20, stocky build, wearing grey hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms.
The second male is white, 18-20, thin build, wearing black hooded top and grey bottoms.
The third male is also white, 18-20, short black hair shaven on sides, wearing a black hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down the sides.
