Police are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted in Newton Aycliffe.
Officers say the incident happened in the early hours of Friday 13th May at Silverdale Place, during which a female sustained injuries to her face and torso. The female is now recovering.
Police are asking for anyone with any information to contact 101 and ask to speak with PC Blaney.
