The Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) in Newton Aycliffe has been shortlisted in the 2019 Investors in People Awards.
The awards celebrate the very best in people management practice recognising the people and teams that make the difference every day highlighting excellence on a global scale.
PCP are finalist for not just one but two awards; the ‘Third Sector Award’ and PCP’s Quality and Compliance Co-ordinator, Becky Gustard, is down to the final five in the ‘Community Employee of the Year’ category.
PCP chief executive Carol Gaskarth said: “According to the judging panel this year’s Awards have been the biggest and most competitive year to date with the quality of entries very strong so we’re thrilled to be shortlisted.
“Other finalists include organisations from the Philippines, Dubai and New York and it’s hard to comprehend that a charity with its routes in Newton Aycliffe is competing on the same stage.
“We are really looking forward to the awards ceremony in London and I am particularly excited and hopeful for Becky to bring home the trophy in her category. Becky was nominated for the sheer breadth of her passion, enthusiasm and willingness to help others.
“Becky is unassuming, quietly working away in the background diligently ensuring that everything is in place and she is one of PCP’s ‘go-to’ people who is genuinely helpful and nice to everyone.”
The Investors in People Awards provide an opportunity for organisations to benchmark work against high performing organisations.
The awards have been independently assessed and verified as a Gold trusted awards scheme by The Independent Awards Standards Council.
