A man has been charged with murder following an incident in Newton Aycliffe town centre on September 8.
Nathan Robbie Buckland, 24, of Lumley Close, Newton Aycliffe, was last night charged with the murder of Iain Lee, who died in hospital on September 19.
He was due to appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court this morning (Tuesday).
