Two local MPs will visit Newton Aycliffe FC for a special corporate open day being held at the club next week.
Aycliffe are hosting the event at Aycliffe Sports Club as a no-obligation open day to local businesses, when Aycliffe play host to Guisborough Town at Moore Lane Park.
Sedgefield MP Phil Wilson will be joined by Middlesbrough South MP Tom Blenkinsop at the function on Saturday 7th April.
Aycliffe chairman Gary Farley said: “This is just a ‘come and have a look at us’ event, a no-obligation opportunity for local firms to come and see what we’re all about.
“Phil Willson is a big and proud supporter of the club, while his counterpart for Middlesbrough, Mr Blenkinsop, is Guisborough’s president and a passionate football fan.
“So we saw this is an ideal chance to bring them together, invite local firms along for a bite to eat and a few drinks and just have a look at us.”
