Thrive Marketing is introducing a raft of benefits for its employees.
In line with the standard annual review, the agency has just unveiled an updated benefits packages to reward and retain existing employees, as well as attract new talent.
The agency, which has been a part of the Aycliffe Business Park landscape for five years, has been hard at work revamping its service offering for twelve months and developing a number of new employee initiatives.
Directors Rachel Townsend Green and Johnny Woods are now offering existing and future employees a variety of benefits including:
• Enhanced holiday allowance for long term service
• Flexible working hours
• Healthcare benefits package
• Monthly team social events
The new package of benefits is aimed at celebrating the team’s work and achievements, as well as maintaining a high staff morale and excellent staff relationships.
Rachel said: “For me, I know that being at work takes up so much of your life and it’s important that although there is a workload to be completed and sometimes it’s stressful, that it’s also enjoyable!”
The team, based at the Xcel Centre, already enjoys a number of “fun” perks, including team days out, which are now becoming a monthly event, Spotify playing in the office, personalised mugs, birthday cakes and ‘Foodie Fridays’.
Another activity that has recently been introduced are regular yoga classes, with Neil Black of Yoga Ready, to encourage improved health and wellbeing for staff and business connections.
The agency recently unveiled the new brand and website for Aycliffe Business Park and currently does business with a number of organisations on the park.
Rachel added: “We’re not a huge agency and we don’t want to be, which allows us to be inventive and intuitive and we wanted to apply that approach to how we reward and celebrate our staff.
“As a mid-sized agency, we can focus on maintaining excellent relationships between our team and using that friendly atmosphere as a warm welcome to new customers.”
Like many other businesses on the park and across the country, Thrive has also recently enrolled it employees onto the Workplace Pension scheme, but they’ve also organised additional financial support.
Rachel added: “We organised for an independent financial advisor to come and speak to our team and the feedback was really great.
“It has been an incredibly beneficial activity for our staff, who have now received impartial advice on a variety of topics, from buying houses to opening savings accounts.”
The team is now planning on rolling out additional activities in 2018, on the back of a successful year of advertising its inbound marketing services.
