A man was air-lifted to hospital after suffering a heart attack in Newton Aycliffe.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Newton Aycliffe at about 9am on Monday.
The 58-year-old man was assessed and treated by the GNAAS aircrew before being flown to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough for further treatment.
The flight took eight minutes and he arrived in a serious but stable condition.
