Two local criminals have been brought to justice after they were caught thieving.
As revealed by Aycliffe Police Team Sergeant Mark Edwards in his regular blog on Aycliffe Today, Kyle Mawson, 25, appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court recently charged with shoplifting offences. He received a conditional discharge for 12 months.
David Michael English, 23, also appeared at Aycliffe Magistrates in relation to theft offences. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay compensation to the value of £380 and costs of £85.
