Little ACORNS, the junior section of the ACORN Residents Association, will be holding their fourth annual petting zoo from 10am-2pm on Friday (8th April) at Newton Aycliffe leisure centre.
Starting with a ribbon cutting opening by town Mayor Mary Dalton, children will be entertained by Animal Story and Crazy Creatures petting zoos, Professor Nincompoop, Harry Potty face painting and Dot and Zooky.
There’ll be a bouncy castle to work off some energy and Sid the Squirrel with his buddy Spotty dog for photo opportunities.
Several other local organisations have been invited to take up stalls and our local neighbourhood police are expected to make a visit.
Come on down and join in the fun. 10am to 2pm. Entrance only £1.
