A Newton Aycliffe student has achieved two top GCSE results – a year ahead of his classmates.
Woodham year 10 pupil Adam Nicholas celebrated a pair of A* GCSE results in both French and German last week.
He will now be given the opportunity to take GCSE Latin in September with a view to studying Modern Languages at Oxford or Cambridge.
Adam, who is also a talented musician, hopes eventually to work in radio broadcasting.
Woodham’s Head of Modern Languages, Mrs Panesar, said: “This is a tremendous achievement, particularly as Adam has studied both languages for a relatively short time.”
