The Labour Party’s EU Battle Bus rolled into Newton Aycliffe on Wednesday – stopping off at Hitachi Rail Europe’s £85m factory.
Former Home Secretary Alan Johnson MP, who is chair of Labour’s remain campaign, was joined by Sedgefield MP Phil Wilson and Shadow Transport Secretary Lilian Greenwood, MP for Nottingham South, at the Aycliffe Business Park factory during their tour of the North-East.
