Newtonian Jason Steele was a double winner at Boro’s End of Season Awards night this week.
A glittering night was held at the Riverside in association with Boro’s official sponsor Ramsdens.
There were seven awards, four of which were voted for by Boro fans on the club’s official website, mfc.co.uk
And Aycliffe lad Steele picked up both the Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards at the do.

A lifetime achievement award went to Ron Bone, Head of Recruitment at Boro’s Academy in recognition of 25 years service
There was also an Outstanding Achievement award presented by the MFC Foundation to Barclays in recognition of their support of the Foundation which was relaunched as a charitable foundation this March.
The MFC Foundation covers six main themes: enterprise, health, social inclusion, education, sports participation and diversity.
Last week, the Supporters Club voted Grant Leadbitter as Player of the Season, Josh McEachran as Young Player of the Season and George Friend as Community Player of the Season.
