Household Waste Recycling Centres in County Durham will switch to winter opening times from this weekend.
From Saturday (October 1) until Friday, March 31, centres will be open during the following hours:
Monday to Sunday – 9am to 3.30pm
• Heighington Lane, Newton Aycliffe
• Annfield Plain
• Middleton-in-Teesdale
• Potterhouse Lane, Pity Me
• Romanway, Bishop Auckland
• Seaham
• Tudhoe
Monday to Thursday – 10am to 4pm
Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays – 9am to 3.30pm
• Coxhoe
• Horden
• Thornley
Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays – 9am to 3.30pm
• Hett Hills, Chester-le-Street
• Stainton Grove, Barnard Castle
All Household Waste Recycling Centres are closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
