The Horndale Community Association’s next meeting is at Greenfield Arts Centre next Wednesday (October 2) starting at 6pm, with refreshments at 5.45pm.
The group will be joined by a representative from Home Group Supported Recovery Service.
Home Group are based at the Blue Bell Hub and support people with physical and mental health problems, help with accessing health services and therapies.
They also assist with healthy eating, smoking cessation and exercise, support people to engage in local community networks to build self confidence and independence.

HCA is holding a Charity Race night on October 4 to raise funds for its Christmas trip.
Phil added: “This year we decided to do something different from a Panto so we are going on the Teesside Princess boat where the children will receive a present, goodie bag and photograph from Santa Claus, there will be games, activities and food all while sailing on the river Tees. This trip proved so popular it sold out within a day.
“Over the coming weeks we will be starting to plan for 2020 and hopefully secure funding to be able to offer more great trips and events for the coming year.”
