Sanderson Weatherall is hoping to find new occupiers for a well-known commercial site after completing its sale earlier this year.
Interest in the Horndale Business Centre, the former Holiways garage site in Newton Aycliffe, has been strong since the Teesside firm of chartered surveyors, helped complete its sale.
Yorkshire-based property development company, Prestige Car Direct Properties, bought the site from administrators KPMG at the start of 2014.
The Bradford firm has made the 27,501 sq ft site available as showroom, office, workshop and display land space. A total of eight premises are available for let, with land opportunities ranging from 1,079 sq ft to the full 27,501 sq ft.
Horndale Business Centre is based on Aycliffe Business Park, one of the most established and strategically positioned business locations in the North East.
Jonathan Simpson, Partner at Sanderson Weatherall in the Tees Valley, has facilitated the sale and is marketing the units for sale.
He said: “This is one of the best known commercial sites in Newton Aycliffe and it is great for the area to see it being brought back into use.
“This site is ideal for such uses as car showrooms, retail, gyms, offices, workshops and more. It is very versatile space.”
He continued: “Aycliffe Business Park is going from strength to strength and this deal is fantastic news for one of County Durham’s most important commercial hubs.
“There has been a lot of interest in the Horndale Business Park, and this is a great opportunity for businesses to take prime space at the point where the business area meets the edge of town.”
Units are being marketed through Sanderson Weatherall on 01642 426918.
