A Heighington mas has been handed nine points and a hefty fine for a motoring offence.
As revealed by NPT Sergeant Mark Edwards in his regular blog on Aycliffe Today, Thomas Gordon Watson, 53, from Heighington, was convicted at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court for driving without due care and attention.
He was fined £500, with £85 costs, while his licence was also endorsed with nine points.
