Students at Greenfield Community College returned to their online classrooms this term with the opportunity to take advantage of a range of learning resources and high quality teaching.
Although physical face-to-face learning is presently on hold teaching and support staff are on hand with a full timetable of lessons and support to create the best learning experience possible for the students.
Resources are available so that students can access learning to suit their needs.
A full time-table of curriculum subjects will continue and also daily T4S (Time for Success) lessons which will support students to meet with their form tutors; develop reading skills and share one-to-one time with teaching staff to help them progress and maintain positive wellbeing.
Information about online learning is available via the school website where online resources can be found in ‘student home access’ and specialist support is also available from the Progress and Guidance team. Limited staffing in school is also enabling children of keyworkers to learn onsite.
In addition the school have invested in a new online learning platform. The Senaca system will add an extra dimension to learning and will be a positive addition to the existing resources.
Senaca is an excellent revision tool which will support students to reflect and encourage a deeper knowledge to enhance their learning.
“Greenfield Arts are also continuing ways to support students with projects encouraging student voice and creative ways to promote wellbeing amongst our greenfield community,” said a school statement.
