One in every four GCSEs awarded to Greenfield students this week were achieved in Grades 7-9.
The results are positive with a high proportion of students achieving 100% at least at their target grades.
There was also a significant increase from 2020 results with an improvement of 8.7% as 49.7% of students achieved grades 9–5 in English and Maths.
There are some outstanding individual performances with a ‘Magnificent Seven’ top achieving students receiving 31 Grade 9s and 23 Grade 8s between them.
In total, 761 of the 987 GCSE grades awarded were at Grade 4 or above with almost a quarter of the grades being 7-9.
Executive head teacher David Priestley acknowledged the hard work of both students and staff and the extended Greenfield community.
“Well done to all of our students who have worked so hard to achieve their results,” he said.
“Our highly committed expert staff have gone the extra mile to meet the needs of our students and support their studies.
“Thank you also to all the parents and carers who have supported our young people in their journey, we wish all of our students huge success in their next steps.”
