Greenfield Community College has secured £100,000 in IT infrastructure.
The funding will see the school boast the latest WiFI system supported by new servers, and access to 500 new devices deployed across departments.
The plans should all be in place for the new term in September.
Greenfield has already won awards for its use of digital platforms and continues to build on the lessons from lockdown to provide a strong blended learning experience for its students.
The school was also praised by Ofsted for its deployment of technology to promote an online offer that provided “business as normal” during lockdown.
Head teacher David Priestley said “We believe that our skilled teachers should have the best resources possible to provide extraordinary opportunities for each and every student to thrive in a safe secure and successful environment.”
