A County Durham recruitment and training company has been revealed as one of seven sponsors to back the Aycliffe Business Make Your Mark Awards.
GEM Partnership is sponsoring the Engineering and Manufacturing category for the awards event being held at Hardwick Hall Hotel on May 9.
The group – which has a strong presence on Aycliffe Business Park – joins Gestamp, Ebac, Stiller Warehousing and Distribution, Husqvarna, Business Durham and Recruitrite as category sponsors so far.
GEM Partnership operations manager Kelly Lee said: “GEM Partnership is proud to be sponsoring the Engineering and Manufacturing award at this year’s Make Your Mark Awards.
“An industry in which we work very closely with, we are delighted to play our part in recognising the contribution made toward the local area.”
GEM Partnership was established in 2009 to deliver recruitment solutions with exceptional levels of service to both clients and the candidates they represent.
Since then, the firm’s capabilities and services have grown significantly, while this ethos has remained at the heart of their business.
That includes the launch of a training division in 2017, which was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (2022), to further cement GEM’s position as a provider of complete workforce solutions.
GEM’s services, and team of experts, can cater for all employment needs, from temporary positions, to dynamic on-premises training solutions and permanent recruitment.
Aycliffe Business Park Community (ABPC) has appointed an experienced events team Resolution Media and Publishing to relaunch the popular Make Your Mark Awards.
Resolution director Martin Walker, who is leading on the Aycliffe Business Awards, said: “We’re delighted to have GEM Partnership on board as one of five key sponsors so far.
“GEM has had a presence on Aycliffe Business Park for a number of years and works closely with Gestamp and Husqvarna, so many employees on the business park will be well aware of the impact they have on the business park.
“It’s fantastic to see GEM supporting the awards and we look forward to revealing more key sponsors in the weeks ahead.”
A number of categories are available for sponsorship, including Company of the Year (Headline sponsor), Innovation Award, Service Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Businessperson of the Year, Lifetime Achievement and Apprentice of the Year.
Businesses interested in sponsoring the event can contact Martin Walker on 01642 450255 or email [email protected].
