Woodham Academy is celebrating another good year of language results.
All students at Woodham Academy learn a language, with around two thirds taking a GCSE.
And the school says 80% of students taking French this summer achieved a good GCSE grade (A*-C grade).
Woodham’s head of languages John Coley said: “I am so proud of our students.
“They have worked with real enthusiasm and determination to achieve this tremendous success. There is a real passion for language learning at Woodham.
“Students enjoy their lessons and they are extremely keen to do well. Overall our students outperformed the national average by 10% which is an outstanding achievement.”
