Four students at Woodham Academy have been given free tickets for their prom this summer after their outstanding contribution in school.
Year 11 students have been working hard in their studies this year in an attempt to get the highest grades possible in their upcoming examinations.
The students with the highest number of achievement points accumulated during the year are being rewarded for their efforts by having their prom tickets paid for by the school.
Points were awarded at any time by the staff at Woodham Academy for a variety of reasons, including high levels of effort, outstanding work, exceptional homework, student leadership, or extra-curricular participation.
This year’s competition was very close, with around 30 students within four points of the winning students’ totals.
Pictured are three of the four winners (from left to right); Abigail Hall, Victoria Archer and Shannon Lendrum. The fourth winner, not pictured, was Reece Rutherford.
