A Young Enterprise volunteer is delivering business seminars to eight-year-old children in Aycliffe.
Eight Durham County councillors have each pooled resources from their Neighbourhood Budget fund, along with a £4,000 donation from Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership (GAMP), to finance an £18,000 project to deliver the workshops.
Run by Young Enterprise, the country’s largest business and enterprise education charity, they’re being delivered to young people from 12 schools in Aycliffe.
Emma Crocher, branch manager of TEMP-TEAM in the town, is delivering the seminars to youngsters at St Joseph’s School, where Aycliffe Today caught up with her for a chat.
